“Siloam International cares for the souls of each and every person with disabilities who are not receiving support amid poverty and discrimination, to create a world where no one is left behind.””
The world adopted the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the United Nations General Assembly to "promote, protect, and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities, and to promote respect for their inherent dignity." Over 160 ratifying countries are striving to ensure the dignity and rights of all persons with disabilities, and Korea is also actively participating in the realization of this Convention's objectives through the involvement of various disability organizations.
However, in developing countries, where poverty and lack of social infrastructure prevail, it is challenging to promote rights solely through individual efforts without professional cooperation and institutional support. To address these challenges, many like-minded individuals have come together to build a global community that supports this cause.
Siloam International is committed to the fundamental ideals of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that "all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and are entitled to the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration without distinction." We aim to support persons with disabilities in all developing countries to lead dignified lives. We ask for your continued interest and encouragement in this endeavor.
Thank you very much.

President of Siloam International
